| Thallus grey to greyish green, smooth. Ascomata largely immersed in pseudostromata. Pseudostromata not or only slightly raised, cream-coloured, often completely covered by the thallus. Hamathecium not inspersed. Ascospores 3-septate, 20–25 × 7–10 μm. CHEMISTRY: Thallus and pseudostromata UV+ yellow, K–; containing lichexanthone (or 1,8-dihydroxy-3,6-dimethoxyxanthone). |

| Corticolous and rather common in north-eastern Qld. Pantropical, mostly in open, lowland habitats. | ||
